1900 Inn on Montford

Absolutely lovely bed and breakfast with fantastic folks (Willy and Shawnie) running it. The house is gorgeous with thoughtful touches and amenities like fresh flowers and cookies, a coffee bar, and social hour. The breakfast was delicious and hand delivered each morning to our room (we stayed in the Carriage House behind the main house). Fantastic location - 5 minutes from downtown. Cannot say enough good things - we will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

This inn, and its lovely owners Shawnie and Willy, are an absolute gem! I've visited Asheville a half dozen times over the years, and I can safely say that I've found the spot we will book for all future travel to the city. Shawnie and Willy are what the hospitality industry should aspire to be. Kind, friendly, non-judgmental hosts who are proud of their inn and city, and make you feel right at home. From our arrival to our departure, we were welcomed and comfortable. Willy's waffles are 11/10 too. The location is off a nice quiet street a short walk from the restaurants and downtown scene you want to be at. My husband and I decided to get away for a few days. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast until this trip. We absolutely loved it! Willie and Shawnie were so nice and created a wonderful atmosphere. From the time we checked in with Jennifer, until we checked out with Shawnie, we felt like we were home away from home. The 3 course breakfast was delicious! They had homemade wrapped cookies and drinks available all day in the sunroom for the guests. We will definitely be back again.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful three day/two night stay at the 1900 Inn on Montford in the Cloisters Suite, which was outstanding. What an exhilarating and, and at the same time, relaxing experience. In this season of the year, the Inn is a treasure trove of beautiful Christmas decorations, many of which were handmade. The furnishings and decor are outstanding as you feel as if you have stepped into a time capsule back to the turn of the previous century... not to mention the historic significance of the home itself. The homecooked breakfast each morning was so very delicious. One morning we chose to simply enjoy it in our suite next to the hearth of the fireplace. This is a beautiful bed and breakfast located minutes (4 blocks) from downtown Asheville! The innkeeper were so gracious and accommodating! Also, the room we stayed in (the Rossetti) is incredibly pet friendly. The innkeepers literally thought of everything, including placing towels by the door to wipe off paws! We had an amazing stay and will return!
