Ascot House Bed and Breakfast

I stayed at Ascot House this past March on a solo retreat to write, and it was one of the most relaxing trips I have ever been on. Chris is an amazing host, the food was delicious, and my room was comfortable and large. The B&B is within walking distance of several restaurants, and is located on a waterfront trail. I stayed here in 2009 and was excited to come back. I am so happy that I did. I want to make this an annual thing.

I adored my time at the Ascot House in Marietta- I only wish we were staying longer. Chris was so kind and accommodating, he even offered a made to order breakfast for us with a full pot of coffee. The house is beautiful and the room was clean and fresh. We hope to make it back during the holidays for the town's candle light tour.

Chris was wonderful at helping me book - I was last minute and he was full, but he made it work! House was beautiful and well stocked - gorgeous glassware collection!|Proximity to the bike trail and McCleary's as well as a few breweries was wonderful. No need to use our car at all. Shower had fabulous water pressure and definitely wished we would've had time to use the whirpool tub, next visit for sure!|Yes, you can hear the train at night, but anywhere in Marietta you can hear the train at night. Worth it for such a beautiful home and for the location to biking and the river and restaurants.

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night. It was nothing short of fantastic. We stayed in the Bedford and the oversized whirlpool tub was definitely big enough for two! In the morning Bonnie and Chris made us a wonderful breakfast which they kindly accepted our offer to join us. We had great conversation and a very relaxing evening in our king and very comfortable bed

Can't say enough good things about the Ascot House or Bonnie and Chris, who are the fantastic hosts. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast, and now I don't think we'll ever want to stay at a hotel again (and we certainly won't if we're in the Lancaster area). The place was lovely. It's a carefully decorated, very clean historical home. Bonnie and Chris were phenomenal hosts and seem like very genuinely kind people. We were accidentally overbooked to stay somewhere else, and Chris literally dropped what he was doing to accommodate us and make us feel like we were at home within minutes of our mishap happening. They prepared a delicious breakfast and we enjoyed chatting with them about things to do in the area and just life. It was truly a refreshing getaway and the stay her
