Avilés Restaurant & Lounge

We had a Valentine’s Day reservation and fully expected it to be busy, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. We arrived on time and waited 10–15 minutes for a table that the hostess said needed to be cleaned, but it appeared already clean the entire time, but no big deal. We were then seated at a table that was essentially in the hotel lobby, near the bar, but directly in front of the front doors and front desk. It felt more like sitting in a lobby than in a restaurant, which was very odd. I’m not sure if that’s their normal setup or just due to the holiday, but be aware that you may end up seated in the lobby rather than an actual dining area (pics below). After ordering one appetizer, a soup, and 2 entrees, we waited over 40 minutes and never received our appetizer,

Our 21st wedding anniversary was spent at Aviles and we did not want to leave. The dinner was Michelin star spectacular! My husband had the Pork Chop Manzana with Mashed potatoes and he cleaned his plate. I had the Bahia seafood stew and I couldn't stop eating but I had to because the entree was huge. Desert complemented the entire entree. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation!😋

INCREDIBLE! We have stayed here many times in the past but never gave this place even a single thought. Tonight was the night, we were beat from out travels and decided to give it a shot....WOW. Everything was very good, from the drinks to bread and butter to the appetizers, then the entrees. The Duck was out of this world 🔥 Overall we give this place a solid 5. We will eat here again. 😋

Delicious food, attentive wait staff , very familiar with the menu. Highly recommended.

I look forward to every holiday for an opportunity to go to Aviles for their holiday buffet. As with all of the other holidays, Thanksgiving was fantastic. There are three main courses and many of side dishes to go with them. All there was turkey and smoked ham and best of all prime rib. I love this place. I love the atmosphere. And with a new bar and bartender, I found the mixed drinks to be Unique and delicious. I will always be back!
