Azucena's Raspados Y Ice Cream

Michelle is the owner of Azucena's and she serves the freshest fruit and smoothies in the desert! When we went into Azucena's, it was a very warm day and I was completely exhausted from heat. She made some healthy and refreshing suggestions which I agreed for her to make for me. Within 10 minutes of devouring her suggestion, I left feeling 100% better than what I had felt when I first arrived. Good customer service. Very friendly staff. The snacks are okay. I had the mangoneada and it was okay. The only reason they didn't get a 4 or 5 they used frozen blueberries in the yogurt cup which did not mix well with the fresh fruit.

This place is amazing. I am a native in the cathedral city area and grew up coming to this place after ballet practice as a young girl. I remember walking to this place with friends during the hot summer days, and coming in with my family. The owner and her staff are always very attentive and the quality is always excellent. I have tried a variety of different items on the menu and each item is done with excellence. Highly recommend this place for authentic Mexican antojitos! MUST TRY

Good food, but it was hot as he'll inside. It was 115 outside and it felt like 90 inside. These workers have to work under these conditions? I don't think that's right. Is that an OSHA violation? I took a look at their a/c setting, it was 90 in there, that's not right. Why don't the owners go and work in there with the temp at 90. Disgusting....
