B J's Grill

Came in at 6:30pm on a Tuesday. They are open until 8:00pm. We were told they didn't have any of the veggies for dinner platters except what could be fried. Wound up with a hot dog and fries. They were fine, but not what I was expecting to have for dinner. Restaurant was clean, but staff seemed like they were eager to leave early.

My granddaughter and I dined in for a first time experience. We found a little treasure! From the outside we were not sure but once we went inside we said, “YES!”. Such a cute environment! Just our style! Love the music! Waitress was super friendly! The staff has fun here😊. Food was amazing g! We both ordered omelette. I am very picky about my omelette. This is one of the best I have eaten when dinning out. We thoroughly enjoyed this adventure out in this small little town. There are not many choices. So glad we made a good one. We plan to come back sometime to try lunch or dinner. Very clean too!!

BJ's always comes through on my rare morning off!! The breakfast is spot on! A great cup of coffee, eggs a perfect OE, creamy grits, good portions and that hometown welcoming vibe you expect from a little family run gem like this! Stokesdale is blessed to have ya and so is my belly! ❤️ Betsy

We went here today for lunch, with the intention of ordering the double cheeseburger and crinkle fries. At the door, was a special menu board with Pot Roast or Chicken Fried Chicken, with 2 sides and a bread choice. I immediately switched to the chicken, house made mashed potatoes and house made creamed corn with dinner rolls. Everything was fantastic! The fried chicken was a pounded breast that was so juicy with a great crispy coating and covered in a light brown gravy that had tons of flavor. The creamed corn had zero cob shells (yay!) it was slightly sweet and reminded me of how my mom used to make it. The mashed potatoes had a perfect texture and everything was perfectly seasoned.
