Barbecue and Bourbon

Road our bikes down to Speedway and stumbled upon this place at happy hour. Best drink prices ANYWHERE! Waitress was a sweetheart "Jess", great service! Had the wings and some fried pickles. Wasn't planning on eating, just road in looking for some drinks, found our new favorite wing place. Excited to come back to try out the meat platters. Service and food was great! However I wonder if this space used to be a dentist office because the ultra bright lights. Really clashed with the nice wood, rustic feel that could match the food quality. Ambiance otherwise with the racing nostalgia was great. Swap those bulbs!

We saw an advertisement of BBQ and Bourbon on the side of a vehicle on 465, intrigued, we looked it up and drove on over. What a great decision that turned out to be! Deliciousness. Order the pork rinds. Seriously, get them!

The location is filled with nostalgia and regulars who fill the bar. It's a bar that just happens to serve food. It's a great place to gather for a drink and to sit around with friends. Customer service was friendly. If you are looking for a bar this place is definitely a hot spot. 🔥 The best food items were the side of apples, though they were heated straight out of a can. The Bourbonyaki sauce, this sauce deserves 4 stars.

Marley's service made the rating higher. The food was okay. We stopped in at the right time because it was during lunch time. Being vegetarian, I chose the sampler. I didnt realize the stuffed jalapeños had chicken in it. My potato skins had a long piece of hair on the plate. I let Marley know and she took care of it for me. I also really enjoyed the mocktail.
