Beach House Restaurant + Tap Room

Our group of 6 showed up for lunch. They have a great selection of local/craft beers. I especially liked the Put Me In Kolsch. My burger was awesome. Wife had what she said was the best fried green tomatoes she’s ever had. For beachfront eating, this is a great spot to eat. Sarah took great care of us.

This was our second time eating here, employees were super nice and helpful. Food was tasty, but small portions. Restaurant may need updating…

Actually the food and service was good. With tip my cost was $66.00 on 2/30/26. However, according to management, the credit card processor charged my CC four times at $66.00 per time....so an additional $198.00 continues to show on my CC. I have filed a dispute with my CC Capital One Savor. My issue is: 1) I notified the restaurant of the error....they should have reached out to me because they received the funds. 2) Mel, the GM is polite but has offered me nothing for the time and trouble! 4) As of 3/8/3026 a $198.00 credit has not been processed.

Avoid... The place is beautiful and there was only 1 table when we arrived. Somehow it took them almost an hour to serve us. We ordered two kids’ meals, oysters, and an entrée, but didn’t get any of it because they were out of both French fries and oysters. Unfortunately, the food that did arrive was very disappointing. I honestly could have made better shrimp tacos and kids’ pizza at home. I also ordered an Arnold Palmer, which didn’t help redeem the meal. The only things we found edible were the iced Coke and the fried green tomatoes. The macaroni and cheese noticeably lacked cheese and flavor. When we asked for the check, it initially included items we never received, though they did correct it after we pointed it out. Oh, and did I mention it was like $80 for two kids meals, 2 drin

Great food and atmosphere. Nats were a little heavy outside unfortunately but we got to sit in the netted porch. We ordered tons. Oysters were big and delicious, shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, Georgia shrimp with old bay… everything was amazing.
