If you want to step back in time, visit this little gem of a library in Ben Lomond. They still use a card catalog, the librarian types on an IBM Selectric typewriter, and they rely on volunteers. They have a special section for local history, with magazine articles about locals such as Coffee Corner and Rowardennan. Do not expect any newfangled ebooks or scanning devices. Your library card will be carefully typed and then handed to you. Not to be missed.
Feels more like the creekside small cabin of a book lover than a library, I liked that when I visited.
Cute small library.
