Fika Bakeshop & Kitchen

My hubby and I made the drive of over an hour to pick up our order of semlor, cardamom buns, Tosca cake , lemon Meyer drizzle cake and Swedish chocolate cake and the drive was well worth it !!!! Susan even gifted us a sample of her scones, saffron and cinnamon buns ! Everything was delicious!!! I only wish we lived closer but then again I’d be in trouble if we did 😁. We will definitely order from her again and will happily make that drive to pick up our order !!

Oh my goodness! We contacted this bakeshop to ask for help on which of the two baked goods (summer 🍓 cake or old fashioned 🍑 cobbler)we are wanting to go for first for seasonality purposes. We ended up getting the old fashioned peach cobbler and OH MY! It is so incredibly tasty! The peaches are so sweet and perfect and the cobbler topping is crumbly and delicious! I thought I’d place my order and it would be ready in a week or something, but no! We were able to pick up the next day and just after it had cooled fresh from the oven! Communication was great through the whole process! I will be ordering again very soon and I highly recommend this bakeshop!

Ok, so... in case you missed it, I'm Swedish. Bonafide moved here from the mother country 29 years ago, and have not been back once. Yes, that's sad. The closest to home I have been so far has been IKEA, but now I have this little gem right around the corner from my house! Susan is the real deal! I don't know how she does it, but her kardemummabullar (cardamom buns) taste like home! So far, we've tried 3 different offerings of hers, and they've all been amazing and authentic. I can not wait for semla season! A semla is a seasonal delight that consists of a bun, almond paste, whipped cream, and powdered sugar, and I haven't had one in 30 years... I will report back, and in the meantime you should go to her website and order some pastries. You can thank me later!

Absolutely amazing!!! I ordered strawberry cake and peach pie for a party and everyone loved them! Beautiful, delicious and very high quality! Susan is a fantastic baker with wonderful customer service, I’ll definitely be back! Best of all, having the strawberry cake gave me a feeling of being home in Germany where coffee and cake is the „most important“ meal of the day 😁❤️ UPDATE: For Thanksgiving I ordered the vegan Apple Crisp - it is the tastiest „apple pie“ ever!!! Whether you’re vegan or not, you must try it!

This little pop up is an incredible treat for our community. The baked goods are delicious, and wonderfully unique. From cardamom buns to chocolate raspberry cake, to savory scones, there is something for everyone! Susan, the baker, is incredibly welcoming and kind, and you can tell she truly loves to bake.
