Canal Street Café

We had our Thanksgiving buffet here, and all the dishes were satisfactory, including the desserts. I would have appreciated a selection of fruit options and a fresh salad bar.

This was my first time ever dining here and my experience was amazing! I’m very big on my servers when I dine somewhere and this lady name Tytii was amazing! Make sure you request her, she was so attentive and always checking on us, just a pleasure to be around!!! You rock!!!

The cafe is like an upscaled diner including standard fare with specialty dishes. We had a surprise today as we did not know there is a weekend buffet. Normally I am not a buffet person, but when the prime rib entree is $35 and prime rib is on the $25, all-you-can-eat buffet, you do the buffet. The buffet itself doesn't look like much. In fact we didn't even notice it until our server recommended it. But when you hear about and then see what all they have, it's wonderful. Then you get to taste it all and it's amazing. I way overdid it because it I couldn't decide between breakfast or lunch. I am now on the couch waiting for the food coma to win. They have prime rib, roast turkey, baked ham, shrimp cocktail, an omlet station, several kinds of juice, pancakes, waffles, sausage, baco

Had a wonderful breakfast this morning. Omelette was made to order and perfect. Excellent hash browns. Nice and crispy on the outside. The young lady serving the table was awesome. Great smile and personality. The only down fault was her Dallas Cowboys jersey. J/k Go Pack Go. We will definitely be back.

Tytiana is such a great server my wife and I enjoyed sitting with her, we have came to Canal plenty of times but this experience blew us away. Very attentive and don’t mind my corny jokes. Over all atmosphere is beautiful but she makes the restaurant worth coming back thank you
