Such a great spot in SLU. The café has two floors with plenty of seating, outlets, and a relaxed vibe - perfect if you are working or just hanging out. I tried the honey lavender latte (so good!) and the service was friendly. The manager kindly mentioned their photo policy (no staff in pics), which I appreciated since I was taking a few shots. If you have a Capital One or Discover card, drinks are 50% off - a nice benefit!
The coffee is incredible, exactly the way I would prefer it to be- strong, flavorful, and the perfect blend of milk and espresso shot. I tasted almond croissant and it’s delicious. The cafe is spacious, you can book a conference room for 2hrs a day if you’re a CapitalOne/ Discover card holder; and CapitalOne associates are polite and helpful in answering any questions you’ve got relating to their products. I do see myself going back there, as it’s super close to my office. Edit: Revisited the cafe, as it’s close to my work and ordered the exact same drink (8 Oz cappuccino), and this time a different barista made my drink and it’s safe to say that it’s not consistent and was disappointed a bit.
Excellent service, atmosphere, and drinks and food selection. The fact it's spacious and it offers comfortable seating with lots of power outlets all across makes it very convenient for remote work. Even better when you have a Capital One credit to take advantage of the 50% discount. My only complaint is that it closes at 6pm. It would be nicer if it closed later.
I got the Matcha latte with strawberry foam and it was OK, I got it because of their summer deal. Strawberry was just like food coloring and did not taste like strawberry whatsoever. However, the Matcha wasn’t too bad, it was very milky though. Overall great study spot and I would possibly come back
For me, the Capital One Café was a must see during my visit to Seattle. Over the years we've all observed banking morphing and shrinking from brick and mortar, to ATM machines, to become a smartphone app in your pocket where you can make deposits and conduct banking. The fusion of neighborhood cafe combined with today's new mobile app-driven banking is a perfect reboot of banking. Kudos to Capital One on innovating and refining the personal finance experience. The baristas and financial associates are all friendly and helpful. There's a good mix of tables and meeting rooms. The design of the space is really interesting.
