Carini Italian Restaurant

Decorated for Valentines Day, the atmosphere was romantically fun. My husband and I didn't have reservations but luckily, we were early enough that we walked right in and were seated immediately. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We placed our order and before long, our food was before us. The calamari was lightly breaded and quite tasty. My white pizza was delicious! The hubby got a fettuccine with pesto sauce and he said he really liked it. On our way out, there was a line to get in so this place must be quite popular. I know that I'll definitely go back!

Stopped by with my wife , daughter and newly graduated army captain. Service was efficient, atmosphere is spectacular, probably the best Italian restaurant decor I've been in. We had fresh calamari for appetizer with homemade marinara sauce, sooo good. For our main meal we had the delicious original white pizza, spaghetti with oil and garlic and meat tortellini , everything was delicious, way to go guys. Bravo

Food was decent but now 100% authentic. I ordered the spaghetti a la Giosue and my husband go the fried seafood platter with a side of regular spaghetti and salad. I must say, the homemade ranch was delicious and their portions are very generous!! Overall, we were happy with this place and the service was great.

Anybody who's spent time in or grown up around this part of town is sure to have an opinion about Carinis. Seems like half of the people I talk to think it's the greatest place ever and the other half say it's not what it used to be. I've only been going for about a year now so take my opinion for what it's worth, but I really don't see it as anything special. Atmosphere overall is good. They have a game room that is pretty run down looking, not a huge deal I guess. Always had good waitstaff, no complaints there. But for the price, the food is where this place is lacking. Can't remember exactly what I got but it was a dish that should have came standard with noodles, but instead I was given a choice of salad or spaghetti for a 'side'. Not even a choice of noodle type, just spaghetti

Usually I have no complaints regarding Carini's but this time we ordered something totally different from our Usually Meat lovers pizza, we ordered the Seafood platter which was a big disappointment. Seafood platter came with spaghetti which was terrible, being a Italian restaurant Ibwould think it would have been better than the Seafood but it wasn't. Good thing the person who rung me up told someone to let the kitchen know that my order came with spaghetti it was ready just not together with order. I appreciate her naking sure I got what I paid for but wish I could get my money back for the whole meal. Spaghetti had no taste, the fries that was with Seafood platter wasn't cooked all the way, the fish wasn't fresh fish either. I expected so much better than this from Carini.
