I ordered the roasted pork baguette with house pickles, cilantro jalapeño slaw, and spicy mayo, and wow… every bite was next-level. The flavors were bold, fresh, and balanced perfectly. And let’s talk about the drink—smooth, creamy, and served in the cutest glass. It’s clear they pay attention to every detail, from presentation to taste. We even got to meet the owners—two college students who chased their dream and landed right here in Richmond. What an amazing find in downtown and close to the airport. My colleague and I both had the she crab soup, roast beef and Italian. It was recommended to try the shio pan which was the perfect addition to the soup. I will be coming back the next time I’m in town for business.

Delicious all around! Probably the best pastrami sandwich I’ve ever eaten. We also had the smoked turkey on wheat which was also delicious. Sides including the potato salad - also top notch. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. I appreciated they kept the lights off and had fans going as a nice respite on a hot day outside. Above and beyond what I was expecting for a business-district lunch spot!

Been meaning to try this place since I live close by and I’m happy I finally did. I got the roasted pork sandwich and it was the perfect level of heat, bread was soft with a nice crust, produce was fresh. Potato salad has a great dill flavor, which is the style I love. Price for the quality of food, especially downtown, is tough to beat. I went in just before the lunch rush so I was in and out with great service. I’ll have to go back soon and try the pastrami or chicken salad next.

I work one block away and somehow never knew Charlottes was so close. I came in today and ordered the half roast beef sandwich and the Caesar salad. The sandwich was hot and delicious and the salad was cool and crisp. The quality of the ingredients is fantastic, the ambience comfy and the staff very friendly! I will be returning here for lunch at a minimum of once weekly.
