Classic Cafe

Big plate of food. Wait staff were very friendly. Took a while to order and get food but understandable these days with lack of employees. Price’s were very reasonable. If your in the area you should stop in for a meal. I didn’t have any dessert, but I was checking out the pie flavors and definitely would have had some if I had room left in my stomach to eat any pie. We are planning to come back to this area for wine and spirit tours someday. We were here for a wedding and didn’t really know much about the area but now we know how beautiful it is we want to visit again. Probably not in November because it was too chilly.

Sat down was immediately waited on and had our food in under ten minutes wow that's service. Traditional old school Breakfast and was delicious, eggs bacon sausage pancakes along with a great coffee.

I have never had the urge to eat a Reuben sandwich until I saw someone share a picture of it from this cafe. The service was quick, very nice wait staff, and the Reuben did not disappoint. Ordered a side of waffle fries which came out hot and perfectly crispy. I probably could have done without the Mac and cheese (eyes bigger than my stomach). I also had the blackberry pie for dessert. I really wanted to like it but found the seeds made it hard to eat. Otherwise it was good and not too sweet. Would pick any other pie, they all looked great. Overall, enjoyed my meal here and would recommend!

After visiting Watkins Glen we found this little hole in the wall restaurant. Very friendly service and the food had a good home cooking taste. Is it the best food i have ever had? No, but it was pretty good for this small little town. I would recommend stopping by if you ever find yourself in the area.

We had a Christmas family dinner and it was excellent and extremely delicious the best we have eaten in a long time we will grace the Classic Cafe again
