Sunrise Landing Bed & Breakfast

Excellent location and absolutely wonderful Innkeepers! Very easy drive to Watkins Glen State Park, and tons of wineries. When we arrived, Mary greeted us and, while we were chatting about breakfast for the next morning, she asked if we had any dietary restrictions. While I had indicated my peanut allergy ahead of time, my husband began an extremely restricted diet about three weeks before we took our trip and months after I had booked our stay. He is doing low FODMAP, which has to be one of the more challenging diets to traverse. Realizing this, I told her that we had packed food and snacks, and we knew that we were springing it on them at the last minute. We had the pleasure of staying at Sunrise Landing last week for our 20th anniversary. The location is ideal for going wine tasting on Seneca and Keuka lakes. The view is spectacular! Mary and Paul were very accommodating. We enjoyed many conversations with them. Their breakfasts were delicious! They saved us from having to stop for lunch everyday. We would highly recommend staying here and will do so ourselves.

Just returned from a birthday weekend get away for my husband. As soon as we left the main road and turned on to the winding gravel road thru the woods, we knew we had made an excellent choice. Sunflower apartment was more than we could have hoped for. Everything was spotless and well appointed. Comfortable bed, quiet, fully equipped kitchen with snacks and waters, abundance of towels, robes, exceptional views of the lake. The stairs are many to get to the lake and dock, but well worth it (there are little built in benches along the way to rest) Be sure to grab a bottle of wine and charcuterie board to watch the sun set on the dock or tea/coffee for the sunrise. Could not have asked for a more wonderful stay than Sunrise Landing Bed and Breakfast for our first visit to the Finger Lakes. This B&B truly lives up to the saying: “Enter as strangers, leave as friends.” Our hosts, Mary and Paul, were not only warm and welcoming, but also full of knowledge about the lakes, the history of the area, and the best recommendations for places to explore. We stayed in the Iris Apartment, a spacious and fully appointed suite with a queen bed, living area, and full kitchen—which we never used because the breakfasts were absolutely spectacular! From the French toast to the breakfast quiche, every meal was an amazing, and Mary even packed up our unfinished muffins for us to take on the road. 5 stars on location even though the stairs were steep it is nice and private. End of Sept. It was quiet on the lake. The home and the fun steep gravel driveway, was part of the adventure and Mary and Paul do a beautiful breakfast. Very accommodating. Morning Glory room was nice space with a little refrigerator and the bed was so comfortable. No need packing a robe, they have comfy ones there.
