Classics Sandwiches & Subs

Having been a loyal customer of this establishment for many years, I have consistently enjoyed the quality of the food. However, I have noticed that the operating hours have fluctuated over the years, with the restaurant now closing at 4:00 pm which seems like an unusual time for a restaurant. Furthermore, they are also closed on weekends. It seems they might be able to accommodate more customers if they extended their hours.

The food is good. The service is great. The staff is friendly, warm and inviting. However, as such is, plan to wait 15 plus minutes after ordering your food. It’s a popular place with locals in the area. Oh! Don’t even think that phoning ahead will put you ahead of the wait, as they rarely answer their phone during peak business hours.

Not happy about the kids meal that I received. I called the restaurant when I got home and saw the fries and chicken were burnt in both cold. I spoke to the manager or owner. Brandy and I expressed my concern over the appearance and the quality of my kids meal. I told her that I only had two fries that were full length fries she said that there were more than two full fries in the box. I went back to the restaurant to show her the food that I received, and she did agree that the fries were bad. She did offer to make me new fries, but could not make the chicken over for some reason and no refund and left the box with her! So now I have to spend more money to feed my child. I understand being a small business owner and not being able to parcel out refunds left and right, but when something

Great sandwich 🥪 shop with nostalgic pictures all over the walls, going strong since 1981! Limeade is fabulous 🤯 as are the Fries 🍟 and you can't go wrong with any sandwich 😋 you order! Go sit down or order takeout and Enjoy!

I stopped here after I read reviews, didn't want to go to a chain. Great welcome when you walk in the door, nice selection in the menu and decor is a museum with various pictures from different famous people. Baja chicken wrap was recommended and had fries with them. Was expecting fries be fresh cut there but they are bag fries, still cooked good and crispy. My sandwich was OK, not much flavor for being called Baja Chicken, I did like that my chicken was hot. I'll sure try place again during next visit & try different sandwich to see if it's better.
