This is a fantastic refresh of the Connaught with grandmother still cooking, and other family serving. They are all so charming and attentive. I’m not an expert on Indian cuisine, but I know what’s delicious. We had the Shrimp Pakora, Tandoori Chicken Tikka. And Lamb Vindaloo. You get bottomless rice, an order of naan and even complimentary butter chicken. All of it was fantastic. The decor is cozy and modern. Around 24 seats and it’s busy on weekends.

Absolutely fantastic Indian food! Yummy veggie and paneer pakode. The rogan josh chicken was rich and flavorful, the dal maharani perfectly spiced, authentic malai kofta and delicious paneer makhni and the garlic naan fresh and fluffy. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. Great portion sizes and reasonable prices—can’t wait to come back!

I had an amazing experience at Clay Oven! Their butter chicken is honestly one of the best I’ve had — the sauce was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with spices. The chicken was tender and full of flavor. The Rogan Josh was equally impressive, with deep aromatic spices and beautifully cooked meat that just melted in the mouth. The portions were generous, the food tasted fresh, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. If you love authentic Indian food, this place is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommend trying their butter chicken and Rogan Josh!❤️

Incredible food and true hospitality Not only did they accommodate us without a reservation after we explained we had to eat quickly to catch our ferry, but they absolutely nailed it. The service was fast and genuinely kind, without ever feeling rushed. And the food… so good. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, the rice was bottomless, the curries were rich and delicious, and honestly, the best samosas I’ve had in a long time. This is the kind of hospitality you don’t come across these days. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks again for accommodating us! You guys were the best 💜💜💜
