If you are looking for a true country retreat, this is the place to go. The grounds are beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxing and serene. The owners, Joyce and Roger, were such gracious hosts. The breakfasts that Joyce prepared were spectacular. They were delicious and beautifully presented. Joyce even prepared a special dessert in honor of my birthday and even provided the party favors and a gift, a beautiful orchid. She and Roger made me and my friends feel very special. My stay at Country Haven is something I will never forget.Even though you are not right in town, you are just a short trip away from all the pretty towns in the area. Wonderful place! The setting is so peaceful both inside and out. The food is fantastic and the owners are willing to work with you if you have special dietary needs. It is beautifully decorated inside. The owners are very nice and make your stay very pleasant. The bathroom is shared which doesn't bother me.

My husband and I spent Halloween weekend at Country Haven B&B. We chose Country Haven because we wanted to be in a country setting, and we definitely got our wish. Roger and Joyce are both gracious and friendly hosts. Roger showed us around the farm and even allowed us to try milking one of the goats, which was a fun experience. We enjoyed all of the animals--the cats, the dogs, the chickens, the geese, the ducks, the guinea hens, as well as the goats. Joyce decorates the house in outstanding fashion and has such great attention to detail. I absolutely loved all of the decor. Her breakfasts are outstanding; delicious, and not the standard breakfast fare, which makes it all seem extra special. ||||The guest rooms do not have televisions, but there is a sitting room with a television

We had a wonderful country winter getaway at country haven. Roger and Judy are wonderful hosts. There are many added extras such as a delicious hot apple dumpling and tea in the evening. A lovely cozy king size sleep number bed gave us both a very restful evening. Very quiet rooms! A delicious gourmet healthy breakfast with a gorgeously set table. A beautifully decorated 1912 home with many little extras in construction. A long winding driveway set in the beautiful quiet hills of lansboro.

If you are in Lanesboro, avoid town and head to this country retreat! Joyce and Roger are outstanding hosts with fantastic hospitality! Joyce makes to die for breakfast, it's not just bacon and eggs it's a whole spread of amazing tastes! They have some animals to enjoy as well! If you can stay here instead of town, you can always visit town it's only 10 minutes from this retreat! Totally recommend this B and B!!!
