Food here was amazing. I ended up getting some Baked Chicken with candy yams and cabbage with rice and cornbread. First time here and they have a different menu set up every day. My other coworkers got the bbq ribs and turkey necks, all come with sides.

Good Home Cooking!! Great Breakfast food. Update: So we went back for lunch. My husband had turkey wings and I had the baked chicken 🤔 never had okra in my collards but it was good. My husband ate all his food 🤣😂🤣 so his plate was good too. Week 2! A week later and we’re back! This time I was able to meet and take a picture with Mr. Cozy Brown his spirit is just as awesome as his food! He welcomed me and made sure our meal was good. Saturday night we had fish and shrimp and my husband had Pork chop and rice. The seafood is cooked to order and well seasoned. They had turned off the fryers for the evening Portia (pictured in purple) is the best she turned the fryers back on and fried us some fish and shrimp. Went back for breakfast again and my son got more seafood w/grits.I Love this est

My grandmother has been in a nursing home since 2019. Since then, I've been coming down, visiting her, and feeding her from Cozy Brown. Unfortunately, by the time I get the food to my grandmother, it's always ice cold. I'm not going very far which means the food was plated under heated. This past trip, I asked about their senior discount. They looked at me and automatically assumed I was trying to get the discount dishonestly. After 5 years of support, 5 years of going far out the way, they rudely denied my grandmother her senior citizen discount because she wasn't able to put her shoes on, get in her car, and leave her nursing home to pick up her food. Well, they've lost two good customers over $1.

First yes, I ate both plates!! Amazing soul food and bbq. I didn’t expect this spot to be really good at both. The fried crab claws were new to me and absolutely yummy. The seafood platter was cooked fresh and require a small wait. The ribs and side came right up! The side which often get neglected at some bbq spot were on point. Folks soul food and seafood at its best!!

The BEST food for our first visit to Mobile!!! A large portion, well worth your moneys worth! All the ladies were very polite and friendly.
