Crabby Coffee & Bagels

Visited this place last summer and absolutely loved it! Bagels were made fresh and delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. Nice selection of options. Can't wait for the 2026 season!

very good bagels! all the the bagels had very strong flavors which is good. got a dozen bagels for mother’s day and everyone all said that they were great! also got the cherry cold foam matcha which was sweet, but very good.

Very cute place. Loved my Montreal style bagel, it’s so different than what is around here. It’s nice to know that the owner makes them himself, fresh every morning. I’m not a coffee person but the bagels are worth it alone. They seem to be improving every time I go in. I just noticed the cute, painted benches out front. I can’t wait to sit outside with my dog and enjoy a bagel. Love having a grab and go breakfast place in the village!

I have to assume the 5 star ratings are friends of the owner or just a joke. Visited this place in June, won't be back. This place is awful! Wanted a breakfast sandwich, they decided on no breakfast sandwiches that morning so I ordered 2 Onion bagels, received burnt everything bagels with cc (Cost was close to 10 bucks). Place looks furnished by the Salvation Army. The white writings on the windows are a big eye sore in beautiful Onset center, Hours are not consistent, open late, close early. The building is too big for its use. The decor, (paint, flooring, walls) looks like a 9 year old did it. Fast forward 2 months. There is a closed for the season sign (mid Aug). My guess is this place just couldn't make it and won't be back. It was doomed before they even opened it.

I want to give them the benefit of the doubt as a new business but damn, would it hurt to hire a third employee or fourth employee? We came and left, unfortunately without a chance to even try the bagels, as we were already waiting 20+ minutes without ordering with no sign of the line letting up. We easily saw two other groups get up and leave during this time. One person on the register, one person making coffees, and another one or two making bagels—it really can’t be rocket science…? Hoping I can try them once they sort it out someday.
