So my daughter Elly turned 23 on the 23rd of November. Me: "So what would you like to do on your birthday this year?" Elly: "I've got a hankering for perogies." Me: " Well I heard about this new authentic sounding Ukrainian place that opened this year, how about we check it out? We just wanted some perogies but what we got was the full, real deal folk experience!🙂😂 Highly recommend that if you get a chance, check out Culinary Centre Nostalgie on Ferry St NF. Lidia Bulaivska and her staff Nataliia and Tahir were incredible. Not only with great dishes but we were entertained and brought into the "fold" without even knowing it!🙂
This place definitely has its unique charm. If you are tired of basic Canadian food, come to this place! Service is great, you can tell people try their best
