Danner House B&B

This centuries old house is historically well preserved yet modernized to fit traveler's needs. It is immaculately clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are varied and wonderful. Coffee and bottled water are always available in the sitting room. The location is on the Niagara River Parkway with a commanding view of the river. Hosts Dave and Helen couldn't have been more gracious and supplied us with great information of the area. Even after we left, we phoned Helen for additional information that she happily and readily provided. Great couple, great place.

What could have been a flopped 10th anniversary wine tour was saved by Dave. The bus didn’t pick us up so without delay Dave jumped up and drove us 25 minutes to the winery to meet up with the tour. It was all in all a fantastic time and the room was lovely. The breakfast was so tasty. It was a great night. Thank you guys!!!

We stayed at the Danner House for 6 nights. It was the perfect place to stay for our wedding and honeymoon. Quite location by the water. Breakfasts were delicious. We were able to enjoy the outdoor pool several times. Helen and David were great, made us feel at home and answered any questions we had about the area and had great suggestions. Would love to come back.

We spent the night here as a part of seeing Niagara Falls. We had the MacTaggert Room, which is filled with just the right number of antiques. The bed was comfortable and there were easy chairs in the room, just right for reading. Each room has a private bathroom assigned to it but one has to leave the room and go down a hall to reach it. They furnish robes, so it wasn't a problem. The bath was modern and spotless. We had a great breakfast of fresh fruit and French toast, cooked in house. The owners were around if needed but were not intrusive. The only suggestion I have for a better experience would be that they have more literature about the area in the house or make themselves more available for guidance in how to navigate the attractions. We appreciated finding such a nice setting close to friends we were visiting. It is very close to the falls for people that want a more relaxing setting rather than right in Niagra.||The bed was comfy and linens substantial. Breakfast was very, very good. The owner was friendly and so were both cats! ||The private bath does not adjoin the room but bathrobes are provided.
