David's Diner

The food is fantastic. If you ask me where I want to go for breakfast, it's here and I'm probably getting the Country Eggs Benedict. The jalapeno cornbread is to die for. It's small and can get crowded on the weekends but the food is worth it.

You get your moneys worth in food. Homemade home fries and not the frozen kind. Good sausage and toast. Only downside for me personally is that you get bottled soda instead of fountain drinks.

What can I say ,I love that feeling like you just walked into your grandparents house for breakfast. Everyone was so welcoming. The food was delicious and oh my goodness the pancakes were HUGE. Definitely don't skip out on this breakfast place.

This one was on my short list for acclaimed Pittsburgh area diners that I hadn't gotten to try. I don't often get a chance to have breakfast out because of my work schedule, and when I do, it's usually Mondays, when David's Diner is closed. So when I got a random Thursday off with my family, I knew a I had to give it a shot- and I wasn't disappointed. David's Diner is a small place off of Freeport in Springdale, and you get a feel even before you walk in the door that this place has a lot of history and local appeal. The dining room is small, but not unexpected or two tiny to handle a decent sized crowd. While we were there, they turned tables quickly and consistently. The staff was pleasant and attentive and thoughtful. They are known for their very large pancakes, and the whole family

It was my first time at this diner and I loved it! Delicious food, very generous portions, great prices, and friendly and attentive staff. As soon as they approach your table, they asked if you are anyone is a service member, veteran, or first responder because they give discounts for them. I have a lot of respect for this place and definitely will be back!
