Best deli to hit up before a game. Chopped cheese is so good as well as the empanadas. They also have mini single drinks to pre game.

I'm super happy we found this place! It's obviously a local haunt. We probably had a dozen people or more ask us how we found out about it. You see, we're from Milwaukee and came to New York for the season opener Brewers v Yankees. (Good game, tough loss.) Anyway, there we were fresh off the subway bickering over where to eat or what to do before the game. While I was talking to New Era reps, my friend was getting the low down. Some random, caring passerby heard our bickering and told us where to go. I remember his directions: "turn around, go back up that slight hill past Billy's and turn right.
