Tremendous fresh seafood is the trademark here. We had the whole soft belly clam roll served with fries or onion rings. They are lightly breaded and cooked in freshly changed oil. The onion rings are the real thing, sliced, breaded and deep fried. They serve you all of the popular sauces, tartar, chili, cocktail plus Tabasco. Good selection of beers to choose from. We had an attentive waitress as well. Eddie's is worth a visit. You'll be back!
This is everything you want in a New England seafood place and a New York pizza place. Somehow they do both really well. Gluten free and celiac diners will love all of the options. The folks here are mindful and knowledge about GF needs.
I ordered for pickup from here, and never had I had a fish fry so lacking in flavor. The fish was dry, the breading bland beyond belief. The clam strips were rubbery and hard to chew, and again incredibly bland. The onion rings were barely breaded, soggy, and the onion still mostly raw. I will say the mozzarella sticks were tasty at least, and you can't do too much to a side salad, so at least I didn't go hungry at work. I'll continue to order my fish fry from Ted's however.
Friendly waitress (Charlie) and super good food - amazing even. I would drive a great distance for their lobster bisque, & the homemade onion rings were perfect. My husband enjoyed his fish (haddock) tacos & the sides he got. Everything was homemade, & it was served really hot! The only distractor was the room temperature - it was in the single digits outside, and very cold inside. They eventually brought a heater out to warm the dining room up. But still a great overall experience.
This place is a hidden gem. It's nothing fancy but the food (omg) is so good and the portions, for at least what I got (fish fry/onion rings) was HUGE and cooked perfectly.....couldn't even finish! Highly, highly recommend! (Pictures don't even do it justice)!!
