Elk Grove Village Public Works

I’ve lived in this village for about a year now I’ve submitted multiple request and countless phone calls to get a sewer problem resolved outside my house. The village always seems to say it’s the other persons problem. It’s either the water departments the problem, the engineer, or the next persons. For an entire year every time it rains my whole corner front yard gets flooded because the sewer is graded improperly. I have to put up with another winter of having an ice rink outside my house because the water doesn’t drain properly in the villages drains. The workers that I have talked about this that came out. We’re nothing short of rude and incompetent, claiming there was a bigger issues, and that the proper people would have to take a look at it before they corrected it. The village cl

Phoenix cartage. Had an issue with drainage. Publix works crew was amazing. Office staff got us drawings and info needed to get the job done.

I recently had an issue in my home which required an odor investigation. Public Works was so polite and responsive to the issue and sent someone out immediately. The gentleman who responded was so friendly and happy to help. I am so sincerely thankful for EGPW responding to this matter in a timely fashion and putting my mind at ease. Thank you!

I’ve had nothing but negative experiences when talking to Village public workers.

If it's not flooding the streets, it's coming out of my faucet wreaking of chlorine. This town has no idea how to handle water.
