Evergreen Dairy Bar

Love this place! I always sometimes past this place and tell myself I will stop in. Glad I did had a great first experience! Imagine walking back into time 1950! Super great staff. I will bring my family to this place! As soon as my son tasted his ice cream he instantly asked me… “Where did you get this from?” WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The place was packed but we got a table quickly. Great service. Good food. And the coffee was hot! My friend said the hot chocolate was delicious. The pancakes were huge with lots of fresh blueberries. Eggs were done right - which is harder than most people think. I'll be back.

Really nice soft serve ice cream. Milky, full bodied. Hard ice cream seems to be from Hershey's. Various novelty cones available, sprinkles, pretzel, cookie, etc. Cherry hard dip was good. Tastes very cherry. Peanut sauce with soft serve is good. Pineapple shake is nice. Thick, pineapple pieces.

I am not from the East Coast. I happened to be driving by seeing one of our suppliers and said to myself that I needed to stop there. I am really glad I did! Evergreen Dairy reminds me of a place when I was a kid back in the Midwest. Family owned, and you get what you pay for. And that is a good meal. And that is what I had. A cup of their corn chowder, ham and cheese hoagie with gravy fries. And ended it with their orange and vanilla swirl in a cup. What a great lunch. Keep up the awesome service.

We passed by several times on our way back from dinner with our daughter, so one night we stopped by for ice cream. From the start, we were amazed at the size and quality of the treats they provided. We were also curious when we peered into the restaurant/diner which, only offering breakfast and lunch, was closed. Established in the 1940's, it still held that old style charm we could remember from when we were kids. Now that we have moved nearby, we ventured in to see if they were as good as they looked. NOPE, They're BETTER. Since that first visit, we've gone in many times and have tried many of the offerings on the menu. Each has been excellent, served quickly, hot, and by a staff who are friendly and eager to please. We highly recommend the Evergreen Dairy Bar to anyone who loves excel
