Vincentown Diner

Come here whenever I’m in the area. This place just super. We had citrus broiled cod tonight and my wife had a Greek salad. Said it was best she’s ever had. Service was super quick, pleasant and responsive. Food was Excellent. Prices reasonable and fair. Only nit is I wish I lived next door so I could come more often.

First off, our server was great—she didn't hover, but we never had to look around for her, and she was cool about not rushing us into ordering. Major points there! The food was totally spot on: * The broiled atlantic salmon was so tasty. It came with mashed potatoes and steamed fresh, local veggies—a perfect plate. * We also tried the chicken tenders, and wow, they were very good. The chicken inside was super tender, and the breading was perfectly seasoned and crispy, not like those dry ones you sometimes get. * Oh, and don't skip the soup! The cream of mushroom soup of the day was absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a reliably good meal with wonderful service, I'd totally recommend checking this place out!

We found this place by accident from Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. We decided to make the hour plus drive down the New Jersey Turnpike from exit 10. I have yet to find somebody who actually thinks Guy Fieri is anything but a guy who ships an old 1967 Camaro around and eats food for a camera and an American TV audience that craves drama and other nonsense. His opinion has about as much weight as somebody who unironically has political stickers/flags (George Carlin would like to have a word with you misfits) or other nonsensical bs on their car. Just finished our dinner and can not say enough good things about this diner. The beef tallow fries were perfectly crispy and full of flavor. The meat in the french onion birria soup (sadly I can't remember what it was called) was so tender. I thought it couldn't get better than those two starters and then BAM! Out walks the most delicious mac and cheese ever created. You can tell the mushrooms were fresh because they had a nice snap to them. The cheese sauce was so velvety and the chicken was juicy. I will dream of that mac and cheese for all of my days. My husband got The Slab sandwich and it was another culinary slam dunk. The prime rib was cooked to perfection. The accompanying fries were excellent, consistently crispy, seasoned well, and served hot. We both appreciated the generous portion sizes; in fact, we usually have leftovers.
