Fat bee cafe

The milk tea was nice, you cannot alter the sugar but it comes out good. The brown sugar boba was too soft. The crystal boba was great. The matcha layer cake was small and frumpy. The fruit tea drinks can have altered sugar levels! And the boba this time was great, could really taste their sweetness in contrast to the unsweetened fruit drink.

Great cafe with a variety of interesting drinks. Clean and modern establishment. I came in the evening on a Wednesday and it was relatively quiet, but had a steady flow of customers coming and going. I appreciated that they had music, but it wasn't so loud that it got in the way.

Used to be a regular here. Though, this time was AWFUL. Ordered two to-go boba lattes that tasted horrible! I found that the bobas in each were clumped together- half were soft and half were hard. Clearly a sign they just plopped the boba in there, no preparation or anything! There's an employee who seemed disinterested and made it seem as if every question I asked was a hassle. His careless attitude and rushed service is likely a factor.

Been looking for a boba spot in KC, specifically Lee’s Summit area. Fat Bee was found in Summit Fair. I like the boba, I think it can get a little pricey with add ons though. The drinks were good. Menu is a little limited compared to boba places I used to go to in Houston.

Went here because I found it to be my favorite boba shop around the city over the last few years and I went there today because I really wanted boba. Got my drink and the boba was completely flavorless it was not good. It was almost like it tasted bad. Obviously with brown sugar boba I expected the taste I usually get from it but it was poopy. Also got up charged on my drink for whatever reason. I ordered something that was $6.99 and it turned out to be around $8.50 after tax. Bad experience upsetting
