Fireside Pizza: A Tahoe Favorite! We're repeat visitors to Fireside Pizza in the Olympic Village, Palisades Lake Tahoe, and we're thrilled to report that it still delivers! We celebrated our daughter's birthday here two years ago, and this time we brought two more families along. The vibe is still lively and inviting, with cozy indoor seating and gorgeous outdoor options (weather permitting). The service was top-notch, with friendly and efficient staff handling our party of eight with ease. We waited just 10 minutes for a table, and the wait was worth it! Appetizers: - Pear and Walnut Salad: AMAZING, with candied walnuts, goat cheese, and a perfect balance of flavors - Lodge Chicken Wings: BAKED TO PERFECTION, with a delicious buffalo sauce Main Course: - Large Pizza (half-and-half):

We listened to the great reviews and are so glad we chose this location! The pear and arugula pizza was one of our favorites that was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and we chose to sit outside where we enjoyed a free live band that made the afternoon even better.

I have no idea how this place has a 4.6 rating, it is utterly misleading. The pizza dough was either frozen or par-baked; it had that flat, basic, mass-produced taste you'd find in a grocery store, not a gourmet kitchen. The tomato soup was equally uninspired and lacked depth, and the Caesar salad was completely drowned in far too much dressing. ​The service was okay, which is the only reason this isn't a one-star review. It feels like a total resort trap where they rely on convenience rather than quality. With so few options in the immediate area, it’s a shame the standard is this low. Save your money and go elsewhere - I won’t be back.

Been coming here for 15 years, both dine-in and take out. Great atmosphere, great pizza, good beer list. My only gripe is the mandatory 15% take out "service fee." Tipping should be optional for putting a pizza in a box; this seems like money grab and is out of line with how most restaurants work in a post Covid world.

I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant, and from the moment I walked in, I felt a warm embrace that melted away the cold. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, with soft lighting and a cozy, inviting ambiance that immediately made me feel at home. The staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, making great recommendations and ensuring every detail was perfect throughout the meal. Brandon was our wonderful server. The food? Absolutely delicious. Each dish was expertly prepared, bursting with flavor, and presented beautifully. It was an all-around fantastic experience, and I can't wait to return!
