Customer Reviews
We did self service ordering at the kiosk and ordered a burger with fries, fish and poutine (instead of the regular fries), spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce, and a soda. It was just over $69 CAD, so around $50 USD. The poutine was good (kinda hard to mess up fries and cheese curds with gravy). The spring rolls were also good. But I had to go back and ask for the sauce as it wasn't originally included. Nor was the tarter sauce for the fish. Sigh. The rest of the food - fish, burger, and fries - were garbage by themselves. If it wasn't located where it is - in the welcome center with the falls right there, we wouldn't have gone to be honest. But we were hungry and it was right there so we took a chance. Never again. Seating is also limited. We were here on Valentine's Day and it wa
We were apprehensive after reading the negative reviews on here but were pleasantly surprised. We got the family sized poutine to share between 2 people, pretty expensive (CA$21.75 including tax) but the portion size was huge. Super tasty, the fries were fresh and hot and the cheese curds were flavourful and salty. Probably not the most “authentic” but it hit the spot! Only negative was the wait time, it took about 20 minutes from ordering to collecting the food but they were extremely busy.
I tried Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich and my husband tried hotdogs. Both were fresh and juicy. I got salad instead of fries and it was fresh too. Ever though, it’s little pricey - taste was good and filling.
They have good variety of burgers and pizzas on the menu, but the taste is just okay. The prices for pizza and family packages are higher, which is mainly paying for the location and not the food. We ordered “Cheeseburger” and “Nashville Chicken Burger”. The beef patty’s texture didn’t imply “real beef” and definitely didn’t taste like one! Nashville Chicken burger was better, but had an unnecessary sweet taste to it!
The food was surprisingly good and had larger portions than I was expecting for the price. The fish in the fish and chips was HUGE! The breading was good and it wasn't fishy tasting. The fries it came with were girthy and could have been more crispy. The apple pecan goat cheese salad was delightfully fresh. The sweetness from the apple and candied pecans balanced well with the creamy tartness of the goat cheese. The spinach, arugula, and misc. lettuce salad was a wonderful blend and didn't include even a single wilted leaf! The ketchup crisps must be a Canadian thing. I get the idea, it's like ketchup and fries in a potato chip but it somehow makes real ketchup taste fake. To me, this is how confusion must taste.
