Glass Magnolia Bed and Breakfast

Cannot recommend Glass Magnolia more! I stayed in the Durham room, which is in the second house and up the stairs. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe and the room had everything I needed. Even though the house was fully booked, I rarely heard anyone else beyond a quiet morning alarm right before breakfast. Based on other reviews, I knew breakfast was going to be great and Wally did not disappoint! There were savory and sweet options every morning, delicious starters, and they cater to your dietary restrictions. I will absolutely stay again in the future!

The Rudolph family were great hosts! Gus greeted us with tail wagging and requests for pets. Nancy was helpful with food options around town, was excited too hear about our planned adventures in the area, and making sure we were ready to start our day with full coffee cups. Wally was a superb chef and made us feel like we were part of the family. ||If you are looking to enjoy a classic bed and breakfast in the area look no further than the Glass Magnolia.

Their attention to customer(s) needs, excellent facility accommodations and they offer a picture perfect delicious breakfast every morning are the reasons they are the best. They welcome every guest with smiles, and end each reservation with sincere handshakes, and sometimes hugs, showing their appreciation for your stay with them. The owners, Wally and Nancy, were very accommodating. I was traveling with a bicycle, and they offered for me to store it in their carriage house. The buildings were large and spacious, and I loved that there was a kitchen with a fridge to store leftovers/drinks. You could sit on the porch and sip wine and read a book. The breakfasts were AMAZING thanks to chef Wally and gracious hostess Nancy (and 4-legged host Gus). They are very knowledgeable about the area and gave good recommendations for places to eat, drink, and visit. I would definitely return! I slept with the windows open and the overnight traffic on the main street is a bit noisy, but earplugs handled that with ease.

Although not much to do in Interlaken, Glass Magnolia is a star attraction. The welcome by Nancy, Wally and Gus was warm and informative about restaurants in the area. My room was very quiet and comfortable. Wally produced an outstanding breakfast with choices, plenty of coffee and snacks in the guest kitchen at all hours.
