Customer Reviews
The "Filipino Zippy's" has other locations on Oahu. ATMOSPHERE: The stand alone restaurant has modern decor, and a spacious dining area with regular tables only. There's a hot food line on one side, refrigeration cases on the other, with the cashier in the middle. Like others have said and will continue to say, parking does suck, especially with what we're normally accustomed to on Maui. We went in at 2pm on a Sunday and found 2 open stalls. MENU: Traditional Filipino fare sold plate lunch-style and by the container, halo halo, breads, desserts. They also do catering. The selections in the hot food line were not labeled, so be prepared to ask questions unless you want a surprise on your plate. They also sell a small assortment of Filipino snacks and ingredients. FOOD: Chicken Adobo Bo
It's very quiet and small place. Selling lots of traditional Filipino foods and desserts. I had the pork Tocino and Dinuguan. Delicious! Well cooked, the cashier was very nice and kind. Recommended some Taho for dessert, very good haven't had it for a long time! My parents enjoyed some Halo Halo either Uber Ice Cream on top. I would highly recommend this placr. Very new and clean and with a bathroom!
As we say in our national language in the Philippines(Tagalog), "masarap!!!" (delicious) Your usual Filipino snacks, desserts, and other goodies with friendly staff. They also have a hot food line.
Vacationing Maui from east coast. Best halo halo & bubble smoothies. Employees are friendly & accommodating. Only negative is odd location.
Good eats if you want Filipino food or bake goods
