Wow, Grk Yeero is a hidden gem among the restaurants on Hillsborough St. Fantastic food for a great price. The steak kabobs are my favorite in all of Raleigh. Perfectly seasoned and very high quality. I also recommend the beef & lamb gyros, warm pita and tzatziki. Actually, everything I’ve tried here is excellent - falafel, hummus, salads. I’m rather picky about salads, but the way they are prepared here is just the best. Besides the food, the prices are great & the restaurant is immaculately clean. Of course, special mention must go to the night shift staff who works here making all this happen. Oh, another positive… Grk Yeero is open late night, until 4am!! This is much appreciated (& needed) in a city that seems to shut down so early. High praise and highly recommended!!
Seriously one of the best food/eating experiences I’ve ever had. The food is amazing and the lady working was so sweet and made me feel so welcomed there. She was so helpful guiding me on the best way to order my meal because I wanted to try so many things! This is absolutely going to be one of my go to spots. One of those meals where you can tell that the food was made with love. Thank you so much!! :)
For me, this is a comforting place. As a Greek, I consider the food to be remarkably authentic. Specifically, it is the street food that fuels the late-night urban prowl. Obviously, there are unavoidable differences attributable to differences in regional logistics and ingredients, but the spirit is the same. This spirit lives in our Hillsborough location's incredibly dedicated cook. She is a kind woman with seemingly infinite stamina who keeps the kitchen running often well past the already impressive 3-am official closing time. I find she prepares my order with a delightful urgency, as if she's rescuing me from imminent starvation. Maybe she has, once or twice or ... several times. I fondly remember eating hand-made, foil-wrapped pita gyro and fluffy french fries with my friends and co
I’ve been to Greece, and I can highly recommend this place. I care about my health, and eating Mediterranean food makes me feel better. It’s flavorful, easy on my stomach, and gives me so much energy.
This is my spot! The food is delicious and fresh every time. I get the falafel with fries. And fries are crispy honey! Always feel welcomed and leave satisfied :)
