I needed someone in a public health role to care. I needed someone to see the mold, the flooding, the mental health collapse, and act. I needed what the word “health department” promises. Instead, I found silence. I reported severe mold exposure and water/ flooding damage in my home. Despite providing photos, test results, and medical documentation, I received no help.
