Hillman Beer Old Fort

Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area. I enjoyed grabbing a weekday lunch & beer at Hillman Beer Old Fort. I went around noon on a Thursday and there were a surprising number of people there, which was nice. Plenty of parking, super accessible with multiple ramps, and a variety of seating. I opted to sit on the covered deck that runs parallel to the creek. Perfect combo of sunshine, fresh air and comfortable seating. I had a Hazy IPA and a patty melt. Both were tasty and the fries were perfect. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. I’d definitely return if I’m ever in the area. To me this is exactly what you want from a larger, local brewery experience.

Everything about this establishment was perfect! They have a variety of food selections. We had the Cuban and Ruben Sandwiches and they were awesome. We tried one of their beers and the apple cider, both were very tasty. The homemade blackberry bread pudding was excellent as well. The entire staff were very attentive and personable. The best part for me was that it was dog friendly allowing me to bring my 16 year old fur baby who suffers from separation anxiety. Make this place a must if you’re in the area.

Very good selection of all type of beers.. like 25+ on tap. Didn't try the food but maybe next time. Google shows then being very busy but they were not, so don't let that scare you away! Huge facility with outdoor seating. Worth stopping by if you are in the area!

Broad selection of craft beers to please everyone's unique palette! Hillman also has small selection of N/A beers as wells as sodas, kombucha. Ginger beer and Limeade. Great selection of food items. The warm soft pretzels served with housemate beer cheese and mustard is my absolute favorite! This pairs perfect with anything and anyone! Plenty of parking and seating. Pets, aka our four-legged family members are welcomed and loved everytime!

It's impossible to express just how great we think this place is. This was our first time here. We came before noon on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. We were about the first ones to arrive but, by the time we finished, somewhere around 40 cars were in the parking lot. The service was great. The beer (Red Ale, Brown) was great. The food was high-quality bar food (I mean that as the highest of compliments) --- perfectly baked pretzels with perfect beer cheese and coarse-ground mustard for dipping, two corned beef Reubens (one with perfect fries and another with very tasty kale salad...if you like that kind of thing). Great seating at the bar along the outside wall with the light breeze blowing in. We absolutely cannot wait to come back.
