I loved this place! The brick old-time exterior deceives one and gives way to a more modern but still comfortable interior. The decorations are nice, and it is spacious enough for good conversation without other people breathing down your neck and eavesdropping about your abdominal cramps or whatever y'all discuss at dinner. The bathroom has mints in it. How appreciative is that! I ALWAYS judge a place by it's restroom, and the quality of that was excellent. Furthermore, the booth was comfortable, and lighting was well-done (you don't feel as though you're in a warehouse, but it feels like a mix of an old country diner and modern day bar), and the service was very friendly. Some random guy I didn't even know said hi as we crossed paths. Small town Ohio, right? Food was top-notch. I am a
The food was tasteful, fresh and hot. The Mushroom burger was on spot for taste and juicyness. The meatball trio was OMG soo good. The cheesecake a slice of heaven. Our waitress Kelli, friendly and attentive of our needs best waitress I have had in a long time anywhere.
My husband and I were in town for the show choir competition and needed a place to get dinner. The place was slammed when we got there, but the staff greeted us and got us seated quickly. The owner, Vince, and the staff went above and beyond. And the food was great! Thank you Vine and staff for the amazing experience!! If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely stop in!
In town for a soccer game and needed something quick and filling and Jackie Ray’s fit the bill. Food was good and the service was great. The owner took the time to sit down and tell us the local history. Very glad we found this place!
Stopped in this evening after our daughter's Christmas program, and what a lovely gem in Ashville! I LOVE a good salman salad and theirs was excellent. Unfortunately our dinner was cut a little short because our 3 y/o started throwing up🤦🏽♀️ but the staff was SO HELPFUL, the owner visited our table and told us about the history of the town and the building before the chaos. And even he jumped in to help us and help clean up. We will be back! This is our new favorite place ❤️
