Jack's Family Restaurant

First and foremost, the young gentleman working the front register was trying his best. He informed the female supervisor (wearing a toboggan) that dine-in orders were not showing up on the screen. Nothing was done. We waited almost 30 minutes before finally being asked what we were waiting for. I explained the young man told her the screen wasn’t working, but she didn’t seem to care. No apologies and no rush. A local resident was there as well and informed us he comes in every other day and the entire staff there today were new. He had never seen them before. The whole restaurant was nasty and hadn’t been cleaned. Some customers walked out after us. A lot of other customers had to wait an unnecessary amount of time as well. Stopped in Stevenson AL. The lady that took my order was fantastic. Welcoming attitude. Wish I’d gotten her name so I could give her a shout out.

Old and dirty store to start off with. Got four orders of fries and they were completely orange with salt and inedible had to throw them all out. Tea had turned so had to throw those out to. Cookies were odd too, like dry with melty chocolate. Really sad because we had a five star experience at another Jacks days ago. If consistency is this far off, think I will stay away from Jacks although especially when a family member told me they got food sickness at a Decatur one.

Perfect visit. Late evening on Black Friday and they were terrific. They even made a menu item for by special request because it wasn't normally served after breakfast. Cold evening and we sat right by the fireplace.

Awesome food, great prices. Truck parking. Jacks is an excellent fast food restaurant, my second favorite to Culver’s
