Jacob Brewster House and Bed Breakfast

We only stayed here one night, but it was worth it. We loved the town and this B&B was within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Our hosts Kate and Archie were very friendly and Kate made a wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit, and a peach french toast with locally made syrup. The rooms were very nice with many antique pieces of furniture. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were small but we expected that in an old home. Our son (and us) really enjoyed Spatz, the cat!

Being our first time at a B&B we didn't quite know what to expect and were very pleased with our experience. Kate and Archie were very accommodating, as we had to arrive at a very late hour. They even had the AC running for us before we got in. We stayed in the small room but it was perfect with a private bath. The decor was charming, with alot of attention to detail, down to the breakfast presentation and a personally hand written note upon our departure. The decor was Victorian/country with hand made soaps and scents and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We pre-arranged the time for breakfast, they were very prompt and it was delicious! We had a very nice time talking with Kate as she filled us in on many of the town stories. The location is terrific as it is within walking distance

A last minute getaway for my husband's birthday led us to Sackets Harbor. With no advance timing Kate took us in and made us feel at home. This house is beautifully furnished. You feel like you are stepping back in time. No Tv's and no locks on the doors. We were provided with a very relaxing weekend. Kate was very helpful with places to go in the area. Just like visiting a friend for the weekend. Breakfast was delicious.Wished we had more time to spend there.

My husband and 3-month old baby recently visited Sacketts Harbour and stayed here. Not only was the location perfect for walking everywhere in this charming little town, the service we received from Kate and Archie, was fantastic. They were incredibly warm and very accommodating. We will definitely make a return trip and want to stay here again.

My parents and bride maid, with her husband and babies, stayed in the bed and breakfast for my wedding. I stayed there for a night but my family stayed there longer.||They were really impressed, and I was too. The house is an antique and the rooms were very nice and comfortable. My parents were in love with the couple that owns the place. They had an amazing time and enjoyed the place very much. So much that we are planning to come back for our anniversary.||I guess, it is not the place for people who are looking for something impersonal and fast. It is more in line with the town, historic and full of character and the charm of small places!
