I can only rate the coffee so far since I’ve only bought the beans and haven’t yet experienced the cafe. I’ve been searching for a rich bold coffee without the bitter and I finally found it in the Uzuri dark roast. I look forward to my mornings! Thank you Java Dream!
Cutest coffee spot! Super friendly staff, and cool flavor combinations! (The prices are not crazy either, which is nice) The artwork and wood art in the shop is also very pretty! 😍

I had high hopes, but it wasn't our favorite. Ordered a caramel latte and tasted no caramel. Bakery items were pretty good. Overall felt kinda meh.
I love that Penn Valley has a coffee shop! I recently visited here twice to meet a client to sign some papers. The first day was a weekday and it wasn’t too busy (mid-day). The second day was a Saturday morning and it was packed! I’m glad to see that! The service was prompt and polite. The coffee was good. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. Will definitely be back.
