Food was amazing. Large New York with onions, mushrooms, and Blue Cheese. Best steak I have had in a very long time. My daughter had the barbecue chicken with mash potatoes, The chicken and steak were prepared over an open flame grill in the middle of the restaurant. Very cool atmosphere. Our server was Bobby, she was amazing to say the least and very friendly.

Btw. My account was hacked so I am writing this now. Visited Dec.20th..see receipt. Great casual place in Penn Valley( off of highway 20). This place has been around 60+ years and is a local favorite. They have a full bar that is separate from the restaurant and is always busy. They open for dinner at 530 pm(make reservations!) The food and service is awesome! I split a massive New Yorker that comes with one trip salad bar and fluffy baked potato AND garlic bread for 30 bucks! The food is cooked on an open fire where you can watch everything being cooked. The steak was juicy and definitely rivals any steak I have had at more expensive restaurants! Best pork chops and steaks ever. Never disappointed. Reservation recommended. We usually ordered curly fries while waiting. Meals served with bread and choice of two kinds of soup or salad from self-served salad bar.

Went on Valentines Day. They were very busy but got through the tables reasonably fast. Love the wait staff here and that you can watch as they grill! Definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a steakhouse.

Had a great Valentine's meal here the day after Valentine's Day, this place is almost always packed because the food is so good and reasonably priced
