About Jet's Pizza

First time. “Detroit” style. It was crispy crunchy. Very similar to Pizza Hut. Better than Pizza Hut. The slice was better next day cold. My only complaint is with the thickness of the crust/dough it needed little more cheese and sauce ratio. Two different kinds of pepperoni. It was good. Sauce was good. Semi sweet. The crust and belly is the star of the show here. I’d get again.
Franchise pizzas get no love but Jet's has good pizza. Not a fan of the Detroit Pizza. It's like someone approached a sandwich and said "What this sandwich needs is bigger and thicker bread." The Detroit does have the ability to fill you though its basically a giant crispy crust. My personal go-to is the NY Style with extra sauce (no extra charge) and cajun crust. It's basically just cajun powder shaken onto the crust (and 1-2 inches into the pizza usually) but it adds an excellent kick. I can eat an entire NY Style in a single sitting, but 3 slices of Detroit are adequate to fill me up. The Thin Crust style pizza is crispy and feels like eating a pizza on a cracker, I would not get again. The hand tossed round is basically a normal pizza and more filling than the NY Style as it is thicker
I can’t say that this Detroit style is to my liking. However for those who like thick crust, square pies, this should be the place to go. The pizza had the right amount of traditional sauce and a decent amount of pepperoni. Please be aware that large pizza is not really large. The size of this pizza is approximately the same size of 14” round pie.
We had never heard of this place before, but we decided to order a large pepperoni pizza from here and it was quite good. The pepperoni was tasty but came as a bit of a shock, considering the usual Buffalo cup and char style of pepperoni common to the area. The pizza was good, but not particularly noteworthy. The pizza was somewhat soft and was like a more expensive Dominos. But most of us liked it! It was pretty good.
Recent discovery, we went back for more four times in a month! The Detroit style pizza is really tasty, thick and savory. There are a couple of tiny tables if you wish to eat there.
