Come in and enjoy the comfortable atmosphere, excellent service, and flavorful food. My chopped brisket sandwich was smoky, tender, peppery and slightly sweet. I requested to try the Joe Allen's pepper sauce and bought a bottle for home. This place is a must try!
We just went for the first time to Joe Allen’s and it might just be one of the best barbecue ribs and brisket we have ever ate! Then they have a jalapeño sausage and cornbread! We will come back as often as we can from here on out! We didn’t get the name of the person behind the counter who said he cooked the ribs, brisket, cornbread, sausages and everything else! But he might just be one of our favorite people now….lol. Please thank him for cooking the most amazing barbecue we have ever had! We will see you again very soon! If we could give more than 5 stars we would ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
First time there last night, I wont be back. Atmosphere was great, clean, five stars. The food was not the best i got the 3 meat plate and 2 sides. The sides were piping hot and great, except the baked sweet potato, that was a little well done and was hard, burnt and collapsed in some places. The meats however where barely warm! Still ate it all, i am by no means picky or a food snob, ill eat cold pizza and chicken, and i dont like wasting food even if its not amazing. The food was alright i will say that. The reason I will never come back is the waitress. So rude to my partner, she called her "big girl" 3 times throughout our dinner, will not be back.
Wife's steak was very good, mine mostly grizzle with a large vein running through, the flavor was good though. Wife had a loaded baked potato that made me a little jealous because I had the new potatoes that were described to me as cowboy potatoes (they were cowboy potatoes as much as scrambled eggs with cheese on top is an omelet). The ribs I ordered on the side were phenomenal and falling off of the bone.
I heard about this place from a lady at the airport so I tried it. About 6:30 pm on a Wednesday. Seat yourself, like that. Sat at the bar, served right away, got an ice cold beer. There is a bigger dining room as well but it was just me. Paper menu, very simple, ordered the chx fried steak with fries and a salad. 💯 on everything. The ranch dressing pretty sure not from a bottle. The homemade jalapeño cornbread and white bread, Chx fried and fries were crispy and tasty. I'd come back for sure!
