KALAVARA By The Falls

Had a wonderful dining experience at KALAVARA by the falls, Niagara. The food was incredibly flavourful and felt very authentic. You can really tell that a lot of care goes into the preparation. We ordered the Nasrani Sadhya and Nidhi Porotta, and both were outstanding. The sadhya had a great variety and each dish complemented the other beautifully. The porotta was soft, flaky, and perfectly made. On top of the amazing food, the customer service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit, special thanks to Manjima. Definitely a place we would recommend to anyone craving good Kerala food when visiting Niagara Falls!

I recently visited this restaurant, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every dish had great flavor and was served at the perfect temperature. What truly made the visit special was the exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile. They made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal and checked in just the right amount—never too much, never too little. Their professionalism and warm hospitality really stood out. The ambiance was clean, welcoming, and perfect for both family dining and casual outings. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, a pleasant atmosphere, and top-notch service. I will definitely be coming back!

Whenever you’re at the Falls and craving authentic South Indian—especially Malayali or Kerala cuisine—you must stop at Kalavara. Along with excellent service, the food is truly outstanding. We had the pleasure of trying their Christmas menu, and it was absolutely delightful.

My wife and I had one of the best Kerala food experiences in Ontario at Kalavara Restaurant in Niagara Falls. We first visited on a Saturday night and were absolutely wowed by the Kizhi Parotta—steaming, spicy, and packed with authentic Kerala taste. The combo meals were generous and delicious, offering great value and variety. We loved it so much, we went back again today for lunch. The special chicken dish of the day (wish I remembered the name!) was bursting with flavor and truly bang for the buck. A heartfelt shoutout to the staff, especially Honey and Manjima, who made our experience even better. My 3rd or 4th visit to to this place . I initially heard mixed reviews about this place about their inconsistencies in taste . But all my visits, food has been extremely good .. very authentic .. Especially their wedding combo of ghee rice , beef ribs combo and beef roast combo.. food was really good , neatly presented and totally worth the money . Chaya was ok, may be not my kind of tea, but gulab jamun was perfect. Most of the time, we are served by Ayreen. She is very good at her job and handled us pleasantly.. she is good at handling kids as well which is a very good add on for me.
