Will never check out a book had to pay 30.00 dollars for a book they made it sound like it was destroyed b y water damage when it clearly was only the tip of two pages not even a discoloration of the paper but they made me pay for the book I'm really shocked that they are still open you never see anybody there I think the staff is overpaid if you have enough time to go page by page every book that is turned back in to check for damage these people have too much time on their hands we went to story time once we were the only ones that were there one child like I said they've got too much time on their hands just another case of Moore county paying wages out for unnecessary jobs I saw a total of four people the day we were there not a soul in the library to check out books but yet they get

My Kids love going to the Library to get Movies and Books. The staff has always been nice and friendly to them. Greets us when we walk In. I’ve used the computers before too and they offered more time before I even asked.

Lacking inter-personal skills. They do not want people to learn: 1. If you are younger than school age, they do not allow checking books out. 2. Only can check out 4 books at a time, until you have been member for 6 months. Interlibrary loan is worse: 2 books. Cant do school reports. 3. On a simple library application, it is the most monstrous application I have ever seen. 4 pages per person. They need to even know all siblings of the card holder, even if they dont use the library--invasion of privacy. and several more things I dont have time to list. If you ask them something like if they have Ethernet ports to plug into, they will laugh at you, and look at you like you live in the electronic dark-ages. Very nice staff very helpful very engaged in helping and better understanding what you need and want. They recommend books when you just cant figure it out.
