Visited this establishment during a trip to the Richmond area. I love Korean food and trying "hole-in-the-wall" restaurants. Thus spot did not disappoint. It is a small cozy location with very limited seating but is nice spot off of the beaten path. The food very tasty and reasonably priced. The service was pretty good even though there was one person running the floor. I would definitely return to this spot when I'm in the area.
Every single thing on the food menu is phenomenal. I usually go there during quiet nights and the service and food is great. Tonight it was packed and busy and you can see all of the service staff shinning. Everyone came together and provided amazing food recommendations and more. The chef even gave us an extra appetizer for the wait even though the food came out right after!!!! It's such a good neighborhood spot the happy hour is awesome $1 wing Wednesdays!?!! What more could you ask for.
Was lucky enough to get a seat at the bar before the rush. Literally every table and seat at the bar was occupied before 7pm. Jason was the best! He was running around taking care of everyone and everything. Happy hour from 5-7. Menu not pictured but it was about $1 off drinks. Beef bulgogi was mouth watering. I was only going to eat half but it was so good I was scraping the bowl.
We had a great experience at Kogi Bar and Grill. From the moment our food hit the table, it was clear that a lot of care goes into both presentation and flavor. Everything we ordered was fresh, well-executed, and thoughtfully prepared. The standout for us was the hand-rolled crab Rangoon eggrolls — perfectly crisp on the outside with a rich, balanced filling. They were so good they disappeared almost immediately. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. It’s always exciting to see a new spot open and deliver on quality like this. We’ll definitely be back and look forward to working our way through more of the menu.
Absolutely delicious vegan and vegetarian options! So fresh and flavorful, already craving it again. Place was busy and understaffed. Great for a small group of 2-4 people but space is too small to accommodate larger groups (5 or more). Regardless, we had a great time and the food was so tasty that we will definitely be back.
