I asked an airport employee for a recommendation for breakfast and they said the croissants here are good. I grabbed a bacon egg and cheese croissant and plain croissant for my kiddo and they gave us grapes on the side. It was $18, so it's a little pricey, but it was nice and crispy and held over my hanger while waiting for our luggage after our flight was cancelled. I saw they were making fresh pastries when I walked in and they were open and serving although it shows they are closed on Google. I would come back for the croissants and recommend getting them toasted.
We ordered a breakfast sandwich, fresh fruit and a bottled water. It was $20. The price wasn’t as much a concern as the “fresh fruit”. When I opened the cup I assumed it was a mistake since it looked like someone had eaten half of it. It was a cup that was filled halfway with about 14 grapes and THAT’S IT😬😬 I was concerned I had grabbed someone’s used fruit cup and to my dismay the server frustratedly let me know that’s what I get for my cup of fruit. It was quite disappointing. The sandwich was quite bland but I wasn’t expecting much there😏
We ordered the balsamic chicken sandwich and somehow they managed to de-flavor the chicken, the bread, and the cheese. There was one spot of balsamic on the sandwich. There was one single shred of red pepper that fell out onto the floor when I opened the bag. We split the sandwich and each dumped one full salt packet on our halves- that made it a little more bearable. The chips were partially crispy but mostly soft, like when you make boxed scalloped potatoes and it starts to get soft enough to chew through. Surprisingly, this was the best part of the meal. Next time I'll just set $20 on fire and spare myself the disappointment.
Grateful for the early opening before a 5:10 a.m. flight. My ham and cheese "panini" was a slightly warmed sandwich. The ingredients were good, but they were not heated through. The side fruit was a small stack of purple grapes. Our blueberry parfait was really sweet and the berries had a slight freezer burn taste. Gourmet breakfast? No. But we ate most of it and were thankful for the food, even at $22. Denku was kind and we were in and out quickly.
I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese panini. It is NOT a panini, nor is it sourdough! It's normal, toasted white bread. The sandwich was also missing the tomato. Total disappointment considering I paid $15 for this. On top of that, there's barely anything on the sandwich. The fruit cup that came with it is only grapes, and it's less than halfway full. Do NOT waste your money here!
