Customer Reviews
WOW! Food is exceptional!!!! Very warm atmosphere, excellent customer service, and absolutely delicious food, pasties, and drinks! Highly recommend! We keep returning here! As a huge bonus there’s a secure parking garage that’s FREE which is a rare to find amenity here! Thank you!!!
This might be my new favorite Patisserie 😊🥐 I enjoyed a pumpkin chai and a ham and cheese croissant. It was the perfect snack for a quick walk across the University Bridge. I definitely plan to come back and try some of the other pastries.
Le Fournil is an Eastlake institution as it has been open for nearly 30 years. The bakery cafe is near the University Bridge which is close to the University of Washington campus. On offer here is a good selection of French pastries, desserts, quiche, salads, sandwiches and coffee. Like other Eastlake businesses, Le Fournil has been impacted by the heavy road construction for the future RapidRide J Line in the area. Though not as bad at the moment as some streets further down the road. But due to this, I tend to get my pastries to go due to the trek around construction. I have tried a few pastries from here and I thought they were good not great. It is not one of my favorite French bakeries in Seattle, but I would consider getting a pastry if in the area. Pricing here is typical, but see
Food was simple and amazing. I highly recommend the quiche and both mille feuilles. The tarts are also amazing, especially the lemon one. Since they forgot to apply the student discount, they offered me 3 cookies free of charge. Definitely will head back again!!
We ordered from Le Fournil for an office team training and it was fabulous! Everything was delivered perfectly on-time and the food (red box lunches) was delicious. We will definitely be ordering from them again.
