Linda's Old Furnace Restaurant

They refused service because I didn't have change for $100 bill. Personally between the regisyer and 3 waitresses they could have easily broke the $20 considering i was about to spend an easy $60 for myself and my kids.

Friendly service, good, food-home cooking- with ample portions. Great prices. Plenty of menu choices, and daily specials.

Just moved to the area and was recommended this place... I decide for a late breakfast and went... Very laid back atmosphere... Staff was very pleasant, and engaging... Price was very reasonable for what I order, Sausage Gravy on hotcakes, scrambled eggs, bacon , grits, and coffee... Tons of locals, which only added to the home-like feel of the place... Food was served quickly, and was delicious...

Very slow service at lunchtime on a Saturday. Mediocre food. Soft fries that barely were edible Don't waste your time, find another place.

Linda's is like a step back in time in the most wonderful way. It is a diner that serves delicious homestyle cooking food. The atmosphere is rustic with its old paintings, the counter service area, homemade pies, and a table area for a large family /group that will make you feel welcome, as will the people. Service is quick, servers are pleasant, and drinks are kept refilled. Prices are fair for the large portions you receive. There's always daily specials, but if you have trouble deciding, go with the fried chicken, and you won't regret it. Don't forget to save room for a slice of one of the homemade pies. Linda's also serves breakfast if you happen to be an early riser.
