Lion's Head Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at Lion’s Head Bed & Breakfast. Helena made us feel instantly at home upon arrival. I had called ahead and asked for advice as far as making advance reservations, etc., but Helena made it so easy by simply saying "don't do anything! When you get here I'll help guide you through", and that she did. The house is a fantastic space itself, so close to the falls (a 20 minute walk), but far enough away for enjoy the serenity of the area. Helena is such a gracious hostess and wonderful chef; each morning a real treat for the taste buds. The conversations had over breakfast were lively and informative. Our stay at Lion’s Head Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of exceptional. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, prepared with care and attention to detail. The house itself is a beautifully preserved historic gem, exquisitely decorated—staying here truly felt like stepping back in time. The location is perfect: close to all the main attractions, yet just far enough from the noise and bustle to enjoy peace and quiet in such a popular tourist destination. Helena, the gracious host, was wonderful—warm, welcoming, and full of excellent tips and insights for our trip. This place was the highlight of our vacation, and I would be delighted to return in the future. A rare treasure and a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Me and my fiance loved our stay here, loved the breakfast and the host very much. The location is good, central to the "touristy" parts of Niagara that comes with the parks pass. And only a couple blocks from the bus stop. Room was solid, bed was comfy, and has all the essentials (body wash, towels, etc).

We spent 4 nights at the Lion’s Head last week and were extremely comfortable despite the very hot weather, thanks to the AC. The location is great and we could walk to the falls in about 20 minutes. We used the WeGo bus to explore further within the Niagara Parks area, which made getting about super easy. Helena is a wonderful host and made us very welcome. I had contacted her before arriving to ask for feather free bedding due to an allergy and she has organised this for our arrival. Her breakfasts were amazing and we enjoyed them with other travellers which we loved. We hope we have the opportunity to return to the area and stay at the Lion’s Head again.

Helena is a great host! On arrival we were greeted as if we were old friends which made us feel immediately at home! The room was great, bed was comfy and all was clean! Helena gave us a run down of where to go for our trip around the area. The outdoor seating on the porch was comfy. A great place to relax after walking back from town before bed time! Breakfast was served dead on 8:30 as we were told on arrival! Eggs Benedict was a highlight! Closely followed by crepes with fruit and ice cream on our final morning! The house its self is great, I asked Helena if she could show me the pocket door! I am a huge pocket door fan and don’t have one of my own so it is always an event for me! Helena was happy to show me the door and also gave a great history lesson about the house! I highly recomme
